Caleb Clarke
Welcome! My name is Caleb, and I am an educator and behavior intervention professional dedicated to helping teachers, school staff, and families better support students with behavioral, emotional, and developmental challenges. As a Behavior Interventionist working in special education, I focus on helping adults understand behavior, implement practical strategies, and create safer, more supportive environments where students can build skills, increase independence, and experience long-term success.
My work with children and youth began in 2018 and has taken me through a variety of educational and behavioral support settings, including residential treatment, juvenile detention, juvenile probation, nonprofit programs, public schools, and special education. Across these experiences, I have supported students from preschool through high school with a wide range of behavioral, developmental, and mental health needs. Working in such diverse settings has shaped the way I approach behavior and reinforced the importance of understanding what a student’s behavior is communicating rather than simply responding to what we see on the surface.
Today, I serve as a Behavior Interventionist in the special education department of a public school district. I work directly with students while collaborating with administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to develop and implement individualized behavior supports. My work includes collecting and analyzing behavior data, developing and monitoring behavior plans, supporting students through crisis situations, training school staff, and helping teams build practical systems that support student success.
Throughout my career, I have seen students become more independent, increase their ability to tolerate frustration and triggers, replace ineffective behavior patterns, and develop more socially appropriate ways to communicate and respond. These experiences continue to reinforce my belief that meaningful change happens when we understand behavior, support the adults surrounding the child, and intentionally teach the skills students need to succeed.
Outside of my professional work, I’m a husband and father of four young children. My passion for helping young people grow into healthy, functional, and independent adults drives my commitment to supporting the teachers and families who show up every day to help them reach their full potential.
