Children are often expected to regulate emotions, follow routines, manage behavior, and become independent without first having the appropriate environments, systems, and adult support they need to succeed. When adults are unsure what a child’s behavior is communicating or how to adjust the environment around them, initial challenges can quickly spiral into negative patterns.
Research shows that predictable environments and consistent routines are associated with stronger emotional self-regulation, reinforcing that a child’s success is influenced not only by the skills they have, but by the environments and supports surrounding them.
The Build to Bloom Framework™ addresses this gap by helping adults first understand the child and their behavior, then build supportive environments, routines, and systems, and finally teach the skills children need to grow in confidence and independence. When we strengthen what surrounds the child, we create the conditions for them to bloom.
The Build to Bloom Framework™ is a flexible tool that can be applied as a whole or used to strengthen specific areas of support. Through trainings, consultations, and resources, we help families and educators apply the framework where it can make the greatest impact.

Trainings
Interested in training or professional support for your school, organization, or agency? Build to Bloom partners with educators, childcare providers, families, and community organizations to provide practical, research-informed training grounded in the Build to Bloom Framework™.
Our framework focuses on three key areas—Understand, Build, and Teach—helping adults better understand themselves, the child, and behavior; build supportive environments, routines, structure, and consistency; and teach essential skills, replacement skills, and independence. Trainings can focus on one specific area of the framework or combine multiple topics based on the needs of your staff, families, program, or organization.
Complete the inquiry form below to learn more about professional development, workshops, family trainings, consultations, and customized training options designed to help adults build the foundations children need to bloom.
Project Build™
Looking for support that goes beyond a one-time training? Project Build™ is our hands-on, collaborative approach to helping schools, classrooms, and organizations create meaningful and lasting change. Grounded in the Build to Bloom Framework™, Project Build™ allows us to move beyond simply teaching strategies—we help teams put those practices into action within their real environments.
Through longer-term partnerships, we work alongside educators and teams to identify needs, strengthen classroom environments and systems, and provide ongoing support as new practices are put into place. Projects can include classroom setup and design, 1:1 or group educator coaching, hands-on classroom support, environmental and routine development, behavior support, implementation guidance, and continued consultation.
Each Project Build™ partnership is customized to the needs of your classroom, school, program, or organization, with the goal of creating stronger systems, more confident adults, and environments where children can thrive.
